We’d like SOCAP/Europe to help get you to the next level, with thanks to the Philanthropic Family Fund and donors who make this opportunity possible.

SOCAP/Europe will fund 50 scholarships to support entrepreneurs in attending the event. Each entrepreneur will receive a full-priced ticket valued at €1400. Your travel costs for Amsterdam and lodging are your own responsibility, although we often see our scholarship entrepreneurs teaming up to share loading costs. The full conference program, all meals and event entrances are included in your scholarship, and you will be acknowledged from the podium and in a display board. You will also have access to the special entrepreneur lounge created for your community, to receive special trainings, to further network with investors, and be able to set apart space for one on one meetings. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and learn from role models, and dialogue deeply with investors.

There are terms for the scholarship. As SOCAP/Europe Social Entrepreneur you’ll be expected to apply through the SOCAP process according to timelines; once selected you will be asked to commit to contributing 4 blog posts leading up to the conference. This SOCAP blog is populated with the best minds supporting the social impact investment movement on a public forum, so this is also your chance to find your voice and demonstrate your unique solutions to the world. You’ll thereby begin the act of co-creation and collaboration that sets the tone for your experience at the Beurs in Amsterdam on May 30th.

We expect there to be a large application for the 50 spots: last year there were over 300 for 50 places. This year we want to especially welcome entrepreneurs from the EU member states. Please tell us why you want to and should be selected as SOCAP/Europe entrepreneur.
