SOCAP is made possible through the contributions of hundreds of volunteers who help build the movement of money with meaning. SOCAP/Europe is seeking 50 volunteers who would like to attend the conference in Amsterdam for a reduced ticket price in exchange for a few hours of work. We’re looking for top-notch masters students, self-starter entrepreneurs, non-profit representatives, and mid-career changers to play an integral role by assisting at the conference.

Here’s what we normally expect volunteers to do:

• Attend Volunteer training.
• Welcome guests.
• Assist with registration and hand-outs.
• Direct guests to rooms and assist in troubleshooting any issues they encounter.
• Inform guests of schedule, speaker, attendee information.
• Act as a messenger running from room to room assisting needs.
• Connect with some of the greatest minds in social enterprise and impact investing!

We do ask each volunteer to a pay a small reduced ticket price, to both cover costs and to ensure that you value your conference experience. If you are willing to work additional volunteer hours prior to the conference in exchange for the cost fee being waived, that is occasionally possible. Volunteer commitments are:

• 6 hour volunteer (€300)
• 12 hour volunteer (€150)

We expect to have more applications for volunteers than we can fill. So please explain why you would like to come, and your skills whether they are hosting, multiple languages or familiarity with powerpoint, projectors and other technical equipment.
